Time flies… I can’t believe it’s almost Winter again.
If you’re like me and you live in an area where it gets pretty cold in the winter, you’ll probably spend most of your practice time indoors for the next few months.
One of the challenges of practicing indoors is it’s tough to replicate the feedback that practicing on real grass can give you…
When I’m hitting outside on the range, I keep a very close eye on my divots.
I’m looking for the start and endpoint of the divot (relative to where my ball was), the depth, direction, etc.
Unfortunately, there really isn’t a mat that I’ve found out there that can give me that same level of feedback…
BUT, you can still do a few things to try and make your mat practice more productive.
Check out the video below where I’ll discuss mat practice and a tip I’ve used in my game.
